Recently we acquired the oldest item yet - a mechanical calculator from year 1914!

David Mark Erickson is a man who said goodbye to the boring life, 9-to-5 work, and took off to travel the world to see different places and meet interesting people.

 Recently he embarked on a year-long trip from Budapest to Asia, and along the way he visited us and decided to write an article about PEEK&POKE. Don''t miss the excellent picture gallery!

Not far from san San Francisco, some 50 kilometers to the south, you can find Mountain View - the home of the largest and oldest computer museum: Computer History Museum.

Right now, Hrvoje Dogan, a member of our team is visiting this museum, and shortly you will be able to read his report. His task is also to investigate the possibility of collaboration between HCM and our little "offspring".

For the second year in a row along with the web portal Jabučnjak we are organizing a gathering for the Croatian Apple users. The event named iParty 2009 will take place on December 12th starting at 6PM.

This year we will be having two very special guests: Miroslav Ambruš Kiš and Nebojša Stanojević, both experienced adventurers and Mac users. Those two are selected as a test pilots for the Interorbital Systems first launch of the orbital crew module. This would make them the first Croatian and Serbian to fly into space! The launch is scheduled for next year, and they will talk about the project and answer questions from the audience. This is the first time they will appear in public!

On November 14th band Septica from Vinkovci will have a gig in PEEK&POKE. The frontman is the well known cartoonist Dubravko Mataković.

You will also get a chance to see the retrospective of author''s work. The show host will be Viktor Šošić, who has been vigorously following Dubravko work. Due to the limited space the number of tickets is limited to 130. The price of this exclusive ticket that can also serve as a souvenir later on is modest 40kn.
