Introducing Hyperviz

Posted at 07/10/09 - 23:35

We are proud to introduce the latest addition to our online presence -  Hyperviz. Hyperviz allows you to take avirtual walkthrough through our museum, and even interact with the exhibits!

Official Hyperviz presentation took place during our second anniversary event and starting today it is accessible to all visitors to our web page. This is still very much a "work in progress" version, but it still allows you to explore the complete PEEK&POKE interior.

In order to access Hyperviz content, a plugin needs to be installed. Plugin is available for Windows and OS X operating systems (make sure to switch Safari to 32-bit if you are running Snow Leopard). After installing the plugin you will be greeted with a welcome screen explaining the controls. You can switch to full scrint with M key, music can be turned off by pressing P and you can exit the Hyperviz using ESC key.

In the future the virtual space will be slowly expanded with more content; right now if you walk all the way to the last room on the top floor you can also see how our learning area should look like once we raise the funds required to equip it completely. You will notice that two iMacs have been already donated - if you click on one of the remaining ones you will have a chance to give a small contribution to our ultimate goal - to buy the missing ones.

And please don''t break anything!
