Neon Lies & Iv/An concert + quiz

Our museum has been preserving and presenting the history of information technology for over 18 years. We continue our celebration of this anniversary in our recognizable style – with knowledge, music and a good atmosphere.

The evening’s program begins with a knowledge quiz intended for all fans of technology, pop culture and good fun. A maximum of seven teams with four contestants can participate in the quiz, and the registration fee is 5 € per team (paid on site). To register, please email us at info@peekpoke.hr.

After the quiz, the celebration continues with a musical part of the evening in which two top Zagreb electronic musicians will present special live sets – Neon Lies and Iv/An, both known for their energetic and genre-diverse performances, each with their own distinctive and recognizable style.

Neon Lies has released four albums on LP and EP vinyl, and audio cassettes, which have had a significant impact on the audience and critics in electronic underground circles; known for his emotional and impressive live performances, his material has been published on numerous foreign synth and darkwave compilations.

He regularly performs throughout Europe, and among the most important European festivals he has performed at Left Of The Dial Rotterdam, Eurosonic Gronningen, Fekete Zaj Festival, Fluff Fest Rokycany 2x, Superuho Primošten, SHIP Šibenik, Music Week Poland, MENT Ljubljana, etc., and has shared the stage with the most prominent representatives of the synth and post punk scene such as John Maus, Boy Harsher, Linea Aspera, No More, Riki, Ariel Pink, Buzz Kull, Nuovo Testamento, Belgrado and many others.

The music is entirely produced and performed analogically from magnetic tape on a 4-channel Tascam cassette player, and the motives are therapeutic.

Iv/An is our old acquaintance. His stage namesake Ivan Grobenski once described him as a graphic designer by profession and a kind of anti-singer-songwriter by passion. Both secretly and publicly, has been active on the domestic and international underground scene for years, moving through his own creative micro-universe, leaving behind countless works through self-releases or in collaboration with other performers and publishers. Iv/An has already been around for a decade. In support of Neon Lies, he will present his current album “Writer’s Block”, which he released in mid-2025 under his own label Tonal Shifts.

Tickets are available for €5 at Dallas Music Shop Rijeka, and on the day of the concert the price is €8. Only 70 tickets are available.
