
The Annual Award of the City of Rijeka
PEEK&POKE museum founder Svetozar Nilović and co-founder Davor Pasarić, who have been creating, designing, maintaining and developing the museum for the 19th year, are the winners of a valuable honorary city award – the Annual Award of the City of Rijeka. The award was given for exceptional contributions to computer science education, preservation of technological heritage, and affirmation of friendship between the sister cities of Kawasaki and Rijeka.
The Annual Award of the City of Rijeka is a public recognition awarded for contributions and achievements that are of particular significance to the City of Rijeka, and were achieved during the last two years preceding the year in which the award is presented. The award is given to a domestic or foreign natural or legal person for achievements in the fields of economy, science, culture, health and social welfare, education, sports, technical culture, environmental protection and other public activities.
The decision on the award of public awards of the City of Rijeka is made by the City Council of the City of Rijeka based on the proposal of the Committee for Public Awards of the City of Rijeka.
